Digital Paint

Digital Paint is an interesting spin-off of the standard first-person shooter game. It is based off paintball, in which two teams face off against one another and try to capture the other team's flag or eliminate all players on the other team.

Players are eliminated when they are hit by a paintball or by a paint grenade. Once the player is eliminated, they respawn once either a minute has passed, an entire team has been eliminated or a flag has been captured.

The game is a lot of fun, and is an excellent idea, however it is trying to emulate something that doesn't carry over to a computer very well. There are a plethora of first-person shooters out there and in comparison, this one is not one of the best (even among the open-source crowd, we found Assault Cube or Sauerbraten more fun). We still recommend that you give this one a try if you like paintball.
