FreeGamage.com is a site dedicated to free games and cross-platform games (it's best if they're free cross-platform games, but we make some exceptions). We write reviews for the more popular games, hoping to promote these games amongst the public and reward the developers' hard work. The reviews will help to provide constructive criticism to developers, allowing them make their games even better.

    FreeGamage.com does not do any commercial advertising (although we may relax this rule for small companies that we think could use some help) since advertising is annoying, and to put it simply, why would we put advertisements for commercial games on a free gaming site?

    We do not require the games on here to be open-source, since we respect that certain developers do not want to release their hard work to the public. We just want the game to be free (pirated games are not considered free). We cater to cross-platform games as we don't believe that you should be restricted to a particular platform in order to play good games.

    There has been some confusion in the past as to the definition of free. Some organizations such as the Free Software Foundation define free as freedom from ownership, in that the software is publicly owned and therefore can be distributed, edited, etc. freely. To us, free is that you can download it legally and play it legally without having to pay.
